Looking for a panel-ready 18in dishwasher for my kitchen (very small house & only size that fits) and came across these two Miele dishwashers on eBay. I've also been researching new models online to include the 18in Bosch 800 series & the Z-Line offering.

The first one of these is used from a Vegas hotel and the other is an open box...priced accordingly with options for a "best offer".

Any information/opinions on these two?

I've seen those dishwashers for sale from Las Vegas before.  In fact, check out the link below.  They appear to be selling them on this website for $90 with free shipping.  That sounds too good to be true.  If it's legitimate, I'd take a chance on this dishwasher for sure.

If people are staying at The Cosmopolitan, I doubt they'll be using the dishwasher very much!  Strange that they have a lock -- I've never seen that before on any of the dishwashers at hotels I've stayed at.  Not that it matters as the lock is part of the old panel that you will be removing to install your own.

Both models are good and both have a built-in water softener -- you'll find this incredibly useful if you have hard water and no whole-house water softener.  Although they both accept a custom panel, do you have any preference for the one that is fully integrated versus the semi-integrated one?

I have just googled the instructions and there are some differences in the cycles.  The semi-integrated one is newer.  They are both nice machines.

The Incognito is much older

The G4720 is pretty up to date, the 818 is pre 2000s I would guess.

Take that as you will!

Not too big a preference over fully vs semi-integrated. The fully integrated one would look nicer of course.

The older one seems to be from the late 2000s based on old listings and a handful of reviews I found online from about 2009/2010.

Like marky_mark said, I don't personally imagine a lot of people using a dishwasher in a hotel often, particularly in Vegas. It might possibly be worth the risk considering it likely had a very easy life over the past decade. It being $500 less than the newer one (once you include shipping) is also a consideration.

The service manual for the 818 is avaible online.
No sensor I think on this one, but heated dry with condenser.
It is quicker overall, but no 1h cycle.

The 4720 does have no heated dry, but a variable speed pump, more efficent, the QuickIntenseWash.

But at 500$ less the older one might be a better deal.
