Hello all, I am wanting to make a post and ask what one should pay for this MINT condition Frigidaire 1-18 I was offered to buy and told the seller I would buy it. We have confirmed a price and I am working on arrangements to pick it up as he is located 7 hours or more from me and is going to meet me so I don't have to drive all the way there. So any information on what you guys think it is worth, price wise, let me know!!! Happy washing!!!! I have searched my entire life for one and I was offered this to purchase from him and was blown away at how good of condition it is in. I have another one I am still going to purchase from someone else too, but I want this one for the condition it is in too. Thanks for any help and information.

Confusion

You have already agreed to purchase this machine?  So have you already agreed upon a purchase price?  And if so, why the question regarding what to pay?  Or, are you intending to re-sell this washer?

It's a beautiful machine for sure, but I'm confused by the wording of your post.

It's all relative

I enjoy all the washers I have purchased. I'm not bragging but I have some discretionary money to spend. Some people may think a $12 bottle of wine is the max they want to pay while others may think nothing of spending $40 on a bottle. Get what I'm saying?

Have you seen it in operation? No leaks, or unusual noises?

I used this model as a daily driver for many years and until the transmission started to squeak/squeal beyond my tolerance I thought it was an exceptionally good machine. Washed well, spun well and was reasonably convenient to use( I prefer machines that, like the front loaders, I can set to pre-wash, wash, extra rinse and will dispense everything at the right time so I don't have to run down to the basement to add bleach, softener, etc., but this is a really good old-fashioned washer).
