Does anyone knew where to get 1970's Avocado green paint? I want to paint my hoover TT to match my Avocado Hoover dryer.
Or anyone around Orlando know how to do it and want to come help me ?
Thanks everyone
Chris

Chris, are you back in FLorida?

My brother and I painted a car when we were in High School in our garage. I don't think a washer should be that difficult. Is the dryer the shaded avocado or solid? I have seen appliance epoxy paint but you would have to find one that can be tinted. If there is a small part of the dryer that can be removed you could use that to do a color match. The one paint says you can even brush it on and drys smooth.

Yes I am back in Orlando, I split my time between here and NY, a few weeks in each spot..
Yes the dryer is all one shade of Avocado green, except the edges are a little darker. Its a little Hoover dryer my aunt left me in her will. I have the matching Twin Tub but its cream coloured. I would love to paint it to match the dryer, but dont want to make it look bad if I do it.

I could take the dryer door off to take it and have it paint matched.

The door would work for the color match. You could get the smallest container of paint they would have. Is there a spot on the back of the washer you could try a test on?
