so im almost finished fully restoring my 1981 inglis superb ive put it all back together but im having A BIG PROBLEM. the machine agitates fine but when i put it into spin the main pulley and the wigwag as well as the basket have trouble getting up to speed and seem to be moving slower than it used to. the belt tension is good, the brake is released, the pump pulley moves easily, i already made sure the spin tube is aligned properly by pulling up on the basket etc.
any ideas anyone . the only difference with the new spin tube is that the new one is a full clutch as opposed to the newer style that came out of the machine that had the little nickel size discs. please help . i really want to get this done !
