Hi all,

New member here. I recently picked up a Frigidaire Flair and Kitchenaid KD-12 and now I’m in the market for a Philco V handle refrigerator. I’m located in Los Angeles, but I can come pick up anywhere within 500 miles or I’ll arrange for shipping if further than that. If any members have one they’re looking to sell or could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

There's one on eBay in NY for $1K. Shipping wouldn't be cheap, though.

eBay is the best bet.

Real Buyer?

Not sure he's a "real" buyer; *I* have what is arguably THE nicest V-Handle in existence - 5 color-sanded coats of BLACK, then clear on a 100% rust free example. Furthermore, it has EVERY. SINGLE. Plastic part inside, including the impossibly rare butter door - all plastic is like NEW; no cracks, no chips. Stainless door rails are PERFECT - not one single scratch, pit, or "peck". I spent 20 minutes of my time describing this fridge in an email, and included 3 pictures. I didn't even get the courtesy of a reply. The kicker - I live ~75 miles from L.A...

My response

I have since replied to TheGanzman. His email was in my junk folder and I let him know that I didn’t see it until I saw his comment on the posting. I should have been more clear with my original post. My budget is $1500. His fridge is very nice, certainly one of the finer examples I’ve seen on the Internet, but $5k is more than I am able to spend.
