See how Ebac make their split tub washing machines so futured proofed when drum repairs may be needed. A great feature that was standard years ago for bearing repairs and one which repairmen have been complaining about
with tubs and bearing on most modern washers you cant fix and have to dump the machine as uneconomical to repair !!

Heres one I did of Alistairs Ebac washing machine, its a Rinse & Spin programme spinning at 1600rpm , you get the chance to see inside and showing the new inverter motor and spray jets in action, we need to get some more done after lockdown is over !!

I hope the Ebac spare parts are made available for a reasonably lengthy period of time.

I've just been looking at spare parts for the Panasonic - not that I need them - just out of morbid curiosity. I looked at Partmaster, Buyspares and Espares.

The complete sealed drum-tub assembly is no longer available, neither is the door interlock. It's ridiculous.

The door seal/tub gasket is still available at 75 quid.

So let that be a lesson to me... Next time don't go for a mickey mouse, half-arsed concoction. Stick to sensible brands, like Bosch, Siemens or Miele.

These look like such lovely machines.
They've got a more of an older styling to them I think.

Would be nice to see them modernise a bit more next time.

It would also be good to see them in a few more shops. Currently only in the little independent retailers.

Why exactly are the Ebac machines still restricted to a few small independent shops? You'd have thought by now the larger retailers would have tried them out. Frankly, I am amazed Euronics hasn't grabbed the chance.

Instead, Euronics seem to like arsing about with weird unknown brands of suspect origin.
