Can anyone tell me details on the size/specs of the idler pulley e-retainer? It broke on removal due to rusting. Ordering an OEM would be $$ due to both high cost and shipping. There are limited local sources for such things so I may have to order from some other source than an appliance parts vendor. |

Take whatever is left of the old one and they should be able to match it up or take the pulley and the can guesstimate within a few different sizes and get you close to what you need. |

Anyway ... I didn't take many pics of this project. Did find an e-clip at a local hardware store. $0.30 vs. $4.28 and up for WP-sourced. |

It's not my dryer, and it already lives with an MAH6500. Thanks for the offer. Is it a 6500 w/heater? :-) More machines is usually a positive but I already have six intact washers and one disassembled in the house ... plus a maxed-out garage. I have an MAH4000 pair, and another MAH4000. Some things need to go away but I'm loath to do that considering the difficulty finding items of interest here. |

Model MAH5500 built December 2001. Just trying to find someone who might want to tinker with it. The person that gave it to me said the control would do some funny things after the cycle started. I think I ran it through a couple of cycles and I never saw a problem but I just don’t have any interest in the machine. It’s been sitting in my shop for several years taking up floor space.
