hmmm 15 years old

I wonder if the harvest and avocado where actually available 15 years ago, guess its possible in the commercial line up. Not to dispute, as I am not certain, IIRC about 15 years ago our choices were almond and white. no?

I wonder why Maytag never offered the window dryer door on its retail models. Such a treat!

window. . .

Maytag did offer a window door in the late 80's or very early 90's.

It was a market test sold here in Pittsburgh available at a place called The Appliance Store.

It was a $10 upgrade but not enough sold so it was very quickly cancelled.

The washers are older than 15 years, as there is a round knob for cycle selection, rather than the pointer kind of knob. And of course there is nothing on eBay to show what I mean and on the Maytag Commercial Laundry site, they have the wrong pic with the model...

Those washers are closer to 30 or a little older...they look like the Maytag commercial machines I used to see as a kid in the 70's, and avocado was hard to find by 1978 or so...even from Sears.

Yup..i also remember seeing these machines at a laundromat in harvest gold...or whatever Maytag's name for it was in the mid-seventies.
