I had a new machine installed on Saturday. The guy said the connectors on this hose needed replacing as it was leaking. I took photos and old bits to a parts shop and was told to use these. The problem is it is still leaking when the washing machine fills up. Do the connectors look like the right parts or should I be using something else? Or maybe I just need to connect them more tightly?

1. Where are hoses leaking from?

2. Ensure both joins are pushed in far as can go, then tighten clamps until screws will no longer turn.

It is important that screw clamps are behind join so water can only go one way, and not leak backwards.

Leaking

The picture above is for your waste hose ? so you have pushed the rhs over the black plastic adaptor and clamped it and the LHS looks like you have pushed the hose inside and clamped it ?
In which case it looks like it could leak from the LHS as its clamped on the plastic connector ? difficult to see it ?

You need an adaptor that you push both pipes onto to get a tight fit and then clamp them both sides like the picture below..

BUT if you say its still leaking when the machine is filling then it sounds like its the cold fill smooth grey cold water fill pipe that needs tightening and is the issue as well..
