This not only looks mint, but low mileage.

This is one beautiful machine.

I like this...
"I have only used this for about one load per week and sometimes less and it works like it should. This is a small capacity washing machine. It cannot wash ten pairs of pants and ten shirts all at the same time.

So you know it hasn't been abused by some nitwit that likes to do a month's worth of Laundry in One Clip.

Note that the temp selector is on Auto, not Cold Wash.  That's a positive.

Cool control panel. I've never seen that.
I was expecting it to be a Lady Kenmore, with the hide-away controls. If LK was top of the line; was this close behind?
Very nice looking machine!

These are people after our hearts who take such good care of vintage machines, and this one is a another unusual and original KM, the brand of endless variety. I love how he wants to take it with him.

Barry this is kind of a hybrid between a full size portable and a near high end programmed washer where you pick the cycle and the rest is set. I'm smitten with the slider door, too, reminiscent of the "garage door" on the piano key LK. I get where you're coming from.

This machine reminds me of the one Jeff and Cal have in their collection. Low to the ground and powerful; theirs, however, has the controls on the front.

Oh wow!!!! One of my very favorite machines. If I lived closer I would have headed that way. Saw one of these when they were new, very quiet and powerful. These are worth saving.

One of granny's two all-time best friends had this model.

It's probably equivalent to a model 700.

600 and 700 were usually alphabet models, whereas 60 and 70 were not.

600 maybe would have three levels, 700 variable.

there were two model/styles to this sliding top....one more tilted than the other...

I had the matching dryer.....fantastic machine.....just leave the selector on Number 2...load it and press start....perfect results every time...fool proof

never could find a matching washer....

1968 model 700. It is the same exact model in the video. Give the vid a watch, it's entertaining. He has two of them for this washer.

Hidden Control Kenmore W&Ds

I believe there was just one style washer with a matching dryer and there was another dryer only with a different lower panel that was one of the many KM dryers Sears sold in their Match-All series that did not have a matching washer at all.

Sears promoted these MA dryers to sell dryers to people who already a washer of another year or another brand because a lot of customers used the excuse of not buying a dryer now because they were waiting till they also needed a new washer.

We have the MA dryer in electric that Martin is talking about at the Museum and it is a fast and efficient machine with electronic dryness control. My plan is to convert it into a heat-pump dryer, we will do a before and after performance comparison for drying speed and power consumption.

I guess I'm not too quick on the uptake.
The washer in the video is the actual one that was posted up above in the Craigslist ad; yes?
All the pieces seem to fit. New Hampshire Craigslist. Tallboy is in New Hampshire, and found his on Craigslist.
I watched the video. Really beautiful machine!
