resulted in 3 machines that I had to figure out where to put due to my lack of room because of my too many washers and dryers problem. 15 hours and 730 miles led to a new home for an early 60ís turquoise Maytag dryer in very nice condition. And also I brought home an almond Ď83 lady kenmore convertible and a white Ď84 whirlpool 18 pound washer.

Here are the pictures from the ads. The pictures are not great and the machines are definitely in better shape than they look. Iíll try to get them cleaned up and post more pictures.

all 3 machines are very cool.
Is the Whirlpool belt drive?
The portable Kenmore is neat.
And the Maytag is gorgeous and looks to be in great condition.

I have the same exact Kenmore convertible portable washer from 1984. Oddly enough the dryer that is paired up with my Kenmore portable washer is from 1978

You could bring the WP and LK over here for clean-up but they'd have to sit on my patio (or I'd have to leave the car out of the garage).

Glenn I know the feeling. Iíve got a truck that has been outside for two years now because of my washer and dryer hoard. Plans are in the works to make several trips to the scrap yard.

Maytag dryer serial suffix CW

Nice looking Maytag dryer!

Looks like it was manufactured in 1961 - September based on the "CW" year/month suffix.

I posted a link to an old thread with the Maytag date codes listed for reference.

A little over two years later I found a match for the Maytag dryer in the form of a TA700.

Wow! You have a magnetism that just draws them toward you. All these are great. Especially loving the portables. I remember seeing those at the Sears store in the early 80s.
