Is the electronic ignition a glow type igniter or is it the type of ignition system they lights a small pilot then opens the main gas valve after 30 to 40 seconds? Never seen the ignition sequence on these older Whirlpool/Kenmore gas dryers and have only seen the ignition sequence on my Maytag HOH gas dryer from 1973 and 1981 Maytag DG810 that uses a glow type igniter that all newer gas dryers use.
