A friend of mine has a Maytag washer that is 25 years old and "on the fritz".
She says that the water pump is "out". Her son is going to replace it and see if that fixes it. I am not familiar with Maytags so am wondering if one of that vintage is worth repairing. Experts - your advice, please. I told her IF she needed to buy a new machine, she should buy a Speed Queen. I don't have a lot of confidence in the quality or longevity of LG or Samsung machines.
