Our LG WM4370 is now around 2 years old. Over the last few months, I've noticed that every now and then when I spin the drum slowly, that it would emit a faint squealing sound.

I brushed it off as my WP Duet WFW72 at my old house, would also make a faint squealing sound occasionally but it would always go away.

With the LG, I've noticed that it's been getting louder and louder over the past few weeks. The sound is only present when the drum turns slowly and not when it's spinning at 30 RPM - 1261 RPM but is audible once the drum slows down enough. Another thing I noted is that the squealing is at it's loudest at the end of every wash cycle, but is still perfectly audible despite quieting down after the machine sits idle after a load - and even in this aspect, it seems a lot louder than it was a couple months ago.
