Here's a recipe to try if you like pork chops:

Pork chops
Pepperoncinis
One stick of butter
Packet of Ranch dressing mix
Packet of pork, chicken, or turkey gravy

Place in cooker as shown and cook on low for 8 hours. Will be fork tender and will have made its own gravy. Enjoy!

Other than myself, I have no pork eaters in my family...

So will this work with slices of beef?

I bought the pepperoncinis and one packet of ranch dressing and have either one stick of salted butter or can use Imperial, which had gone from a full four-pack, to two sticks of used to make cookies, so two of are left...

I have two slow cookers, so I just have to buy the meat and the gravy and one more packet of ranch, and divide the pepperoncinis which came in a big jar, if I make both meats... And use both Imperial margarines or the salted butter, of which one to three in its packet of four are left...

Dave-
You might try making MISSISSIPPI POT ROAST. You can google the specifics

you need pepperoncini, butter, ranch mix, au jus mix, and than the beef of course.

The recipe is designed for crock pot cooking. Good luck

How can anything that uses a whole stick of butter end up tasting bad?
