...such as the cool twin steering axle bus in the 1969"Italian job"movie:IIRC,that was a 1964 Harrington that went back into regular bus service after the movie role and was eventually scrapped many years later.A guy in England has found another same model Harrington and is restoring it to match the movie bus :) some cool diesel engine and radiator fan sounds can be heard from the bus in the movie too:)Locally there is an unidentified British bus of ~1965 vintage driving around-boxy double decker body and kind of a "bustle"housing a transverse diesel engine at the rear-pulleys can be seen revolving behind grille on side of bustle, radiator on opposite side grille

Unidentified British bus

Perhaps a Daimler/Leyland 'Fleetline'?

Or maybe the Leyland 'Atlantean'?

Apparently the Atlantean and the Fleetline shared the recessed rear window, but on some Atlanteans the recess wasn't full-width.

thanks for posting up those links :) Body of unidentified bus is boxier and shorter in length and height than those and the top is open air,but engine cover is very similar-thinking someone might have modified a "shorty" version of the linked Daimler/leyland busses into a low speed open top sightseeing bus.Found specs on the Harrington bus as in the Italian job and it has a Leyland 0-400 6-cyl,6.5L diesel rated for 125 HP.
