Well i was skimmin ebay and look what i found! it has the same buttons and display as my orginial quartz, but the cabinet and drum of a merloni servis! how perculiar!!!!!

This was one of the first changeover machines in the ninties!!!it indeed uses the original quartz processor..

Was it safe to assume this was a fairly good machine? did it operate the same? i.e tumbles, fills, spins? im intregued by it!

hows the quartz/hitachi? any pix at all?
