So I got the KDS-17a running and wash performance isn’t that great. Might be my racking but it also makes a high pitched noise at different points in the cycle. Some time it’s almost ear splitting. I made a video of the sound not sure it can be heard that well. If so name that sound.

It's hard to tell from video sound but it sounds like bad motor bearings, probably due to seal leakage.

Bearings

That's what I was thinking but I wanted a second opinion from you guys.

Bearing replacement

Can someone guide me in replacing the bearings on the KDS? Also I have Rust stains leaking down from around the rinse aid dispenser. I searched but I can’t seem to find the answer to fixing that.
