Just picked up these garage door Lady's from Super32, they're in great shape. The washer needs a few things but nothing major. The only mechanical problem with the washer is it only spins on high speed, none of the others work. Here are some shots of them. |

The large capacity Lady Kenmore washers in the garage door version were only made for 1974 and 1975. In late 1975 the black control panel with the wood grain tops debuted for 1976 and remained through a few revisions until the Whirlpool/Kenmore belt drives gave way to direct drives in1986.
I have the ‘75 model with the pentaswirl but these large capacity machines definitely needed the dual action for large loads in these machines in my opinion. The pentaswirl is great for medium water level and below. |

![]() Last of the standard capacity LKMs, yes this has the same wash basket as every 29" BD WP built built from the 1947 Bolt Down KM & WP models with the exception of 24" wide models and the super capacity models built from 1967-1981.
Hi Melvin, yes it is true that the Pentaswirl was a good agitator but no match for the Dual-Action agitator that came out in 1976, you may remember that Sears suggested to people to upgrade their super capacity washers built from 1974-5 to the DAA to improve performance and capacity.
