GE FF Agitator Issues Hi Monte, there is a plastic lower agitator bearing that covers the bolts that hold the wash basket in place, is this there and in good condition ?
Without this LAB the agitator can be forced side to side at the base and this can cause it to start to rise and pop off the agitator shaft.
Post pictures and we may be able to identify the problem.
