She's in rough shape, but looks really cool. Someone should save this.

Always wanted one and I'd grab this but other side of the country. I wonder if the seller really will ship it first class USPS for $120.00 as stated in the listing lol?

Shipping

I had one of those shipped cross country and it was $800.Worth every penny. That machine there is super cool it lights up and everything. When I was young a lady in the neighborhood had that one. I cant remember the last time one of those machines appeared. I think that could be fixed up nice. You never know, that might be the last one.

Aren't these extremely heavy? Heavier than even a w/d pair?

Shipping weight on the 1953 Duomatic CCR was 420 pounds. As it sits estimate it at a cool 400 and your set. Getting it up the basement steps will be a chore.

IS IT HARD TO REPAIR, OR GET PARTS FOR?

newvista58's profile picture
I've been wanting a combination Washer/Dryer for a long time. I keep missing all the good ones/lol, although the price on this is definitely good.

I am inclined to go for it, if getting it to work is definitely doable. If not I'll pass. I just don't have room for anymore non working Machines.

Any thoughts/advice/info would be greatly appreciated
Thanks everyone.

Best washes,

Louis

Caveat Emptor

I was wondering what would be the most likley issues with a machine such as this?
I would wager the wiring would not be safe... need replacement.
The rubber gaskets, hoses and boot maybe gonzo.
What else?
