I have an old Kenmore Soft Heat gas dryer I salvaged. Basic boring one. not fancy like the pictures shown on this site I can find. No model numbers or info and I'm trying to connect the gas. Gas hook up package says to check manufactures info as to what size connectors to use. I cant find that. Any help with this issue...insights? I know its likely simple as heck, and I typically jump in for about anything, but doing gas wrong scares me. At my daughters house.

Same requirements as for any residential gas dryer, this dryer is 22,000 BTUs, if you need more instructions just down load the instructions for any WP gas dryer sold today.
Most hardware stores offer connector kits and they come in two sizes: stoves and dryers. The dryer connectors are smaller and labeled for dryers. There should be a threaded pipe coming out of the rear of the dryer that goes through to the front where the pipe connects to the burner assembly. The connector goes between the gas pipe in or on the wall and the pipe in the dryer.
