Loose agitator shaft on a helical drive MT washer , Orbital  There in a Delrin clip on the agitator shaft that is supposed to hold the shaft in place, if it has popped out in use you may have water in the transmission and need to clean up the trans and change the oil.
To get to the DC you have to pull the wash basket and the mounting stem off the transmission.
