New WP 24" Thin-Twins

combo52's profile picture

These have been out now for around 2 years, We have sold about a dozen of them no problems.

The local distributor. gave us one that was returned in January this year and I put it in a 3 month test at our shop and it did very well easy to use no nonsense controls etc.

This washer design is not as repairable or as rugged as the DD design but time will tell. The washer part is imported from China, not sure who is making it.

The dryer part is the same 24" dryer design that has been in production since the late 1960s.

, unfortunately they do not make this 24" model in gas any longer so the only 24" compact laundry available in the US is the GE TL stack.

John, please correct meif im wrong.

The ge combo is a POS, right? I see a number of them "free" on Craigslist, offer up, facebook marketplace, letgo, etc every single week.

What exactly make them so horrible that people are giving them for free only to get rid of them?
