As many of you may know, I have a weakness for avocado and seven of my machines, 5 GEs and two Westinghouse, are avocado. Finding white appliance porcelain touch-up paint is easy but what about avocado or goldenrod?

I found some NOS avocado Whirlpool brand appliance paint online and ordered it in hopes that it’ll be a close enough match for the GEs. Anyone noticed if the different brands used the same shade of green or will I find myself disappointed and in a fit of despair?

I had Maytag turquoise matched from the washer lid in an oil base, gloss floor paint many years ago. It was spot-on perfect. If you have a paint store that does custom matching, you should have no trouble getting it made.
