How about a shot of the tub and agitator? This looks like a neat machine. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like a Whirlpool engineering "platform" as do the later Brastemp models. Was this indeed similar to a Whirlpool?

Toggles:

Right you are!

In 1959 a Brazilian appliance firm is being formed by Whirlpool and Companhia Industrial E. Commercial Brasmotor of Brasil. The new firm, Multibras Industria de Aparelhos Domesticos, will be operated by Brasmotor. The firm will make Whirlpool-designed appliances while Whirlpool will provide technical assistance.

Cool washer! My mothers first auto was a Kenmore 600 with this exact agitator...what fun memories from the first agi i ever saw.

Very cool - congrats on the great find, and it looks like it's in great shape too!

It's funny how "Whirlpool" it looks and at the same time, not. Love it!

Cold fill?

Rodrigo, the panel has a selector for three water temperatures, so I guess the machine can be connected to both hot and cold water taps. I can only see one water valve in the back of the washer. Do you think this is a later date modification?

Wow,

is that a solid tub?

Congratulations Rodrigo, beautiful machine! The control panel bears a striking resemblance to a late-50's MOL Kenmore.

I don't think WP ever made a solid tub washer. Probably perforated, just hard to see being a black tub with white specks.

Allen Thanks for information.
