I recently came across this manual washer. It's been around for a couple of years and seems to work well. Wouldn't be a bad thing to have during an extended power outage. Does anyone have one?

It was even at the event of the summer, Jerries Pittsburgh WashIn.

Other than using a Pennys worth of power every few hours it is very Eco Friendly.

It allows suds saving and over flow washing and rinsing in the wash side and spin rinsing on the spinner side with a 1300 RPM spin, sure beats hang wringing, and it is only $149

THe inventor reached me trying to "sell" his design.

I didn't approved it after seeing the solidworks similations.

If you push it down to slow, ti does nothing. if you push it too fast (and get super toned triceps most of the water comes around the "drum" and sprays up, right on your face.

Now, lifting it... OMG... You have the weight of clothes plus the weight of water.

If you simply put the clothe sin abucked and agitate wit with your hands, simulating an agitator it's more effective.
