Hi guys!

This is my first post in the forum. Just wanted to share some pictures of my current collection. These are the Hoover tumble dryers!

- Model 3020 (late 1960s / early 1970s?) which I rescued from a house clearance.

- Electra D6E16 made by Hoover for the Electricity Board in the early 1980s?

- Model D6182 Hoover Electron Dryer De Luxe

- Model D6540 Computer Logic Sensor Dryer (quite a wizzy model!)

- Model D6504 Logic Dryer De Luxe. This is the one I know least about, it was made in South Africa?

That's the Hoover collection. I've also got a little collection of compact machines, pictures to follow!

Does anyone have any fun facts or fond memories about any of these Hoover models, or have any rare models of their own?

Hi, welcome. The first dryer, the 3020 matches the wide body Keymatic machines, would go with my 3223 on the right. I actually had this imported from Greece a few months ago. Next to it is my 1972/3 Keymatic set washer model 3243H and dryer is a 3022.

What other washers have you got?

Dont know how good the picture will turn out, send me an email if youd like more photos of my collection. Chris

a D6214 Electron Dryer and D6368 Logic Reversing Dryer E have also been in the collection, but have been passed on to other collectors - the Electron many years ago, while the Logic went to a new home on long term loan just last month.

Space, or lack of :-(
