Toast often looked like baby caca brown. This looks more like almond. Toast was so ugly that it made Platinum, which often seemed to resemble 1950s government office furniture, attractive. |

The way you're saying Toast, I'm sure you mean the color--not I hope whether or not it works...
I have seen Toast color appliances and they are a shade of brown...
And I'd seen one example which was a Kenmore electric range which was discarded and maybe owned by one of old boss's son as it was in front of a house on a street he'd lived on with a Buick in the driveway, and he'd worked for GM, and my boss always drove a Buick, too...
