I’ve seen the original one from back in 2016 where he was singing jingle bells or something.

No out of balance switch or is it bypassed?

I don’t think Whirlpool direct drives ever came with a out of balance switch, and I owned a Whirlpool direct drive washer for a brief time in 2017 and I took it apart and didn’t see a off balance switch at all and a few may have had one but from all the videos I have seen on YouTube none of them show a off balance switch and what I mean they don’t show a off balance switch I mean they don’t even have one at all.

Whirlpool's Catalyst has an OOB switch, possibly the only WP model that does.  The Kenmore Catalyst does, and maybe some other KM models.

Early direct drives did. My 1984 Design 2000 did. Appnut Bob: I will place a high bet that your Shredmore has one also?

Hmmm.  Granny had a 1984 Design 2000 (LA7400XMW2, serial 35th week 1984).  It didn't have an OOB switch, nothing on the parts diagrams.

Glen: Did hers have a straight vane agi, or a dual action? Might the straight vane models have had different features? Gosh, I wish I knew what the model number for ours was!

This, with under-basket lint filter.  Cap on top, no softener dispenser, although one could been added.
