Don't like Kenmore?

Maybe a Maytag DE606 is more you're liking.

That's a real BOL model washer on the OP sale.

WCI of some ilk?

This is a Signature from an old C/L ad. BOL doesn't describe it!

Consider how much paint was saved by not detailing the cycle sequence around the timer.  Weooo!

They probably save a few bucks but not painting extra details on the timer lol. I know very basic machines like this exist for a reason but honestly this is a bit too basic and BOL for me. Will take a Kenmore DD 70 or 80 series set from the late 90’s or very early 2000’s since that had a wide array of options such as wash and spin speeds, and a extra rinse to name a few. Even if you got some TOL decades ago you didn’t get gimmicks you simply got more flexibility in terms of wash and spin speeds as well as temperature options.

Wards Signature NAIL DOWN washer

They didn't even save $2 building this washer, these machines were built strictly so a manufacture could advertise a low price to get you into the store and try to sell you a more expensive model.

Every US manufacturer did it to at least some extent, Remember the ugly Maytag DE-G-90 dryers, they didn't save MT 2 cents to build, but they got a few people into the MT store where the sales person could try up-selling you to a better looking dryer.
