i recently acquired an a512 maytag from 82 with the old style transmission. i am looking for a console/ lid top that would have been from a center dial machine . i have got a 2 speed motor so im looking for a console to support that . white in color . also did the a512 have the largest available tub capacity ? and is there a plastic outer tub available that wont rust kinda like the atlantis had ? my plan is to do a complete overhaul of the machine

If the agitator has four slots down the side, then that's as large a tub as was available.
