Would anyone happen to have a timer knob for a mid-70's Frigidaire 1-18 The part number is 1128999 or 1128998.

I'm also looking for a fabric softener dispenser.

Thank you.

Jeff

I am looking for a new JetCone and lint filter for mine. The lint filter was in brand new condition when I bought it but an off balance load caused it to come out during a spin and it ate it up and chipped off part of the agitator, so needless to say I need to replace them both. The chip is not very big, more of an eye swore than anything and hasn't seemed to "snag" on clothing. I had someone message me about having extra parts you are looking for but I can not find those messages anywhere to get you in contact with them. Good luck with finding the parts. If you happen to find someone or somewhere to purchase parts, let me no so I can hopefully replace what I need too as well.

value of the fabric softener

The fabric softener, I found, plays a inadvertent role in washing. As much as I love my 1-18's, they are easily susceptible to overloading and that adversely affects rollover.

Heavy fabrics like blue jeans tend to ride up on the agitator. However, with the fabric softener on that helps to prevent this from happening as it pushes down on items that are riding up and aids them in staying in the water and rolling over. Anyone else discover this bonus of the fabric softener as well?.

Unfortunately, the tabs broke off of my softener, so now I have to be extra cognizant to not overload or things
will ride up on the agitation and not get clean.

I'm looking for parts also.

I'm also looking for parts for my 1-18. I need a couple of tub top clips. Nothing major. Right now I have 2 missing and have had to re-adjust the ones I have to try to keep everything sealed. But, I'm not real comfortable doing this. Seems like a setup for a leak. So, If you see some of these, let me know. Like I said, I just need 2. Oh, and if you find an extra softener dispenser, I need one too.

Thanks, Dennis

There was a member who occasionally posted 1-18 parts. I don't remember the name, but it had 345 in it.
