Good day I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a central air replacement capacitor like the 1 in a couple of pictures.
My dad is not wanting to pay $40 to $60 but I want a good brand dollar for dollar.
Thanks.

national origin matters...

try to find one made in US or Mexico-some Titan caps are US and all GE are Mexico.Looks like the chinesium Titan in the pics was done in by loose connections-terminals on china caps are thin metal, badly plated,so if you end up with another one of those, make sure the terminals are tight fitting-looks like you will need to replace most of the terminals anyway.

You can buy the same capacitor for about $11:

Assembled in Mexico, probably made in China. May or may not be worth the extra dollar and some change.

Buy the $11 one it probably makes little difference, the one you had was Chinese anyway.

Be sure all the female terminals are in very good condition and that they are shielded from water.
