Hi Everyone,
I have a 5 year old Whirlpool duet wfw72hedw0. For the past while it has been locking up with error messages. E01 FO3. Sometimes this will occur at the start of the wash (presumably when its checking to see if needs to drain anything), other times it will occur when the wash is beginning to drain.
I tried researching this and I have tried a number of things.
1) First off I had an appliance repair guy over who quickly said that I use too much soap and to run a wash with lemon water every month. Though I tried this a number of times, it still constantly locks up. - No change
2) I had a 2nd washer repair guy over who was unable to find any issues and said we would try replacing the main control board and the sensor, he quoted a cost that would be close to the cost of replacing the machine. - No change
3) I researched it and found that whirlpool recommended changing out the air dome on this model, so I replaced the part. - No change
4) After not using it for a few days, I tried cleaning out the drain hose and found that it still had some water in it so I had the idea that maybe the drain in the wall was slow. I tried putting the drain hose in a nearby sink and sure enough the washer ran a number of loads successfully. However, I can't use that sink for this on a constant basis.
5) I tried running a 25 ft auger through the drain to clean up any clogs. While I was able to break up a clog of some sort, the washer still stops and locks down with the same error.

I was wondering if anyone had experience with this, and if anyone has any recommendations as to what I should do.
