At some point during the manufacturing run of GE's frost-freely Combination models, they stopped providing the separate freezer control. This is going to make it more difficult to locate one. It's odd that yours would have failed, considering these control units tend to be set and forget. Since it appears to have wiring involved (I can't immediately imagine why), you may want to check and make sure there isn't a loose connection somewhere. |
