I found another issue with my washing machine yesterday, which was worthy of its own post.

Sometimes, after the rinse cycle and prior to the final spin, the washer will stop draining the water, rapidly flash the "clean" light and periodically do a triple beep, as if the washer has gone off balance.

When this happens, I lift the lid and see the tub still full of water. I then close the lid and press the start/pause button twice to resume the cycle. The washer will continue to drain the water. But today, the issue happened again a short time later, after most of the water had drained out.

This tends to happen when washing bulky items such as queen-sized comforters. But today, it happened while washing a load of jeans. The drain issue can be just as annoying as the washer going out of balance.

For the record, the drain hose is not kinked or blocked at all, as far as I'm aware. How should I remedy this issue?
