This washer is the fountain filter, solid-tub design from the mid to late 1960s before Hotpoint changed these washers to a rim-flo version of GE's FF. And yes, if possible should be saved as a set.

Amazing this is still around. 1970 - 1973 Hotpoint WLW2400 washer. If someone does pick up this set please feel free to reach out for any tips or questions.

The transition from Taylor/Chicago to Appliance Park/Louisville had already begun when this pair was built - the dryer uses the GE cabinet and design.  The washer would follow a few years later, in accordance with Ben's timetable (above).

Wow very rare washer indeed and super cool machine at that. If that were closer I'd pick that up in a heartbeat. Looks like an early 70s model.
