The dryer is right side up and so is the control panel, but the control panel is at the bottom of the dryer rather than at the top.

Correct... That's the latest from LG..... Now the dryer controls are located in the bottom or middle instead of on top.

The controls on the dryer can be either on the top or bottom!!!!True versitility and more user friendly especialy since these are one of the tallest stackers(74")The washer is 4 cu ft and has the 1200 rpm spin. The dryer is a whopping 7.4 cu ft and has 6 different heat settings as well as two sensers and two thermostats.I stacked a set at HD thursday for the floor and sold 4 of them in 50 minutes!!!These LG machines are rockin'!!I have sold more of the LGs than the GE,Maytag,Hotpoint and Danby combined in the past 18 months.I have had maybe 3 with a service issue and 2 of them were instalation related(the idiots removed the shipping bolts before carrying the washers up 3 flights of stairs)and 1 was from a customer who insisted on hooking up their own dryer and died doing it because they didn't ground it properly and got 240 volts charged through them getting burned to a crisp and suffering a massive heart attack. We try our best to sell our services to thecustomers but once in a while you get one or two of those stuborn"I wanna do it myself"types and their knowledge shows their ignorance.
