You can still see the agitator, even with the suds cake. |

Yeah, did it even spin at all? Holy cow. Must've been a mess to get rid of all those suds. As much as I'm Kenmore Fan #1, they weren't reknowned for their spin cycle. But the sound it makes getting into spin cycle makes up for it :-) |

I went to Industrial Chemicals of Arizona and bought a few bottles of carpet defoamer which works great on gettting rid of the suds. I ad it just before wash cycle ends. |

An inexpensive way to "defoam " is to put a regular bar of soap in the washer- in just a few minutes run time the suds will disapear then remove the bar. |

My mom says a bit of fabric softener does the trick too. I'm jealous, I haven't gotten a washer to overfoam in ages :( The closest i've gotten was a tumbler at the laundromat. Not as much fun. |

Dick, Sears still sells a low-suds detergent. It comes in a couple of variations, but make sure you get the buckets that have the "he" on them. I've used their detergents in my TL Lady K for quite a feew years now and am very pleased with the ressults. You should be able to see all the murky action you're pning for. Seeing your face, I can hear ya talking like you were in Tucson. Makes me realize justh ow much I miss you and everyone else that was there.

Dick I have to agree with Bob, the Sears detergent is great. I have been using the HE one with Oxiclean in it with great results. Terry |
