BOL

Could not getting any lower than these. Very very basic set. I am sure the quality is still there though. Great price n look to be in good condition.

I actually like those consoles better than the brown ones.

Love 'em!

I've long wished to have this pair - they're so simple!  It is rare to see both together.

My mother bought the washer in 1981 to replace a GE FF. The washer was delivered in April and for Mother's Day, I walked to the Maytag service shop and bought her the filter with softener dispenser. I've seen 110's with and without the dispenser, likely a dealer feature offering.

Yes, those were the absolute basic models with no frills, they washed and dried, but were real Maytags from Newton.

I assume the three buttons on the right are for wash/rinse temperature.  What about the two on the left?  Fill level?

Fill choices are "Full" and "Partial".

Does this washer have the lint filter inside the agitator?  Just has the solid cap ILO a fabric softener cup?

Yes, the solid cap agitator inserts do still have the lint filter inside them.

I actually prefer the solid cap version - I'd really like one of the large-tub versions, but despite Maytag referencing the part in their service literature, I'm not aware of any that actually exist, so it might not have actually been produced?

No, I don't think there was a match to that dryer.

Just a heads-up.
If anyone even somewhat near these is interested, the seller updated the post to say that they're getting scrapped if not sold by this Friday.

As I'm not a FB user/member... can anyone here put me in touch with the seller?

Kenny - I had similar washer to that dryer, just installed it over at my nephew's new place Sunday.  Three 21 year old guys should give it a good workout.   Don't know that I've seen a washer with the red stripe on the panel.  There was a dryer to match this washer, passed one up a while back.
