Yes, the solid cap agitator inserts do still have the lint filter inside them. I actually prefer the solid cap version - I'd really like one of the large-tub versions, but despite Maytag referencing the part in their service literature, I'm not aware of any that actually exist, so it might not have actually been produced? |

Kenny - I had similar washer to that dryer, just installed it over at my nephew's new place Sunday. Three 21 year old guys should give it a good workout. Don't know that I've seen a washer with the red stripe on the panel. There was a dryer to match this washer, passed one up a while back.
