hello washer friends, its the drycleaner. I have seen in my travels about the net that electrolux made a twin tub washer back in the 30s and 40s. does anyone know if these were sold here in the u.s. and has anyone ever seen one? thanks Bill

Afternoon Bill,

interesting that you mention the Electrolux washer, W20 was Electrolux's first entry into the washing machine market in 1951 and was a twin tub style machine, it was unique in the fact that it had a revolutionary washing method by means of a "Floating water wing" the machine was such a success that there was a club created called "the friends of the W20"

I have never seen one, but about 18mths ago one came up in Holland was I was going to try and get exported to the UK, unfortunately it didn't happen. Not sure if they made it on to the US market.
