Asking here (with the listing URL this time) as the listing info has been updated with more detail than when I asked for general feedback in the Super section yesterday.

I've been keeping an eye out for boxy bottom-freezer refrigerators and would prefer a GE Americana (perfect size, love the extra counter space and lighting, seems like parts are easier to find than some other older fridges, etc), but my husband's into the idea of the lazy Susan shelves in this one. The serial # leads me to believe it's a 1958 model. Is that a fair price for it in its current condition? Its being local is also a perk since we've been driving 8 hours round-trip for other older appliances, but I haven't found anything specific about the earlier bottom-freezer GE models and I'm not sure what to look for in terms of potential issues.

Greatly appreciate any input you might have.

Lazy Susan Shelves

It looks like a beautiful fridge. Keep in mind that those shelves hold less than stationary shelves do. Very tempting to use but it comes at a price.

Of course this may not be an issue for you depending how much food you typically keep in the fridge.
