Hello. I am New to the site. Seemed like the right place to ask a question. I picked up a Launderall washing machine from a estate clean up. I figure I will be selling it but wanted to know more about it. I remember ringer washers when I was a kid, but never seen one of these. Thanks in advance for any input.

That machine was made from 1946-1949. It is an interesting design because the timer is built into gearing right into the transmission. Once you start the machine it has to run through the cycle all the way to get it to finish. You can open the lid to stop the machine if need be, but you cannot in anyway advance the timer and cycle manually.

It features a reversing tumbling, 15 seconds in each direction. 380rpm spin is good for a bolt down machine as well.

Be advised to use this machine it must be bolted to the floor or a cement block. It has no suspension system just like the early Bendix machines which require them to be bolted down.
