Years ago Equator had counter top dishwasher, don't know who made it or how good they were.
Nowadays there's Danby, Magic Chief, Farbarware and some others; all Asian made IIRC. As with portable 18" dishwashers the market just isn't that large in USA for counter top units for many manufactures to get into the game. So you have basically one or maybe two factories cranking them out under various brand names. In Europe IIRC Electrolux/AEG and others make decent counter top dishwashers, but only saw one on this side of pond ages ago. It was on CL and since it ran on 220v/50hz didn't even bother. |

They're basically all the same, except farberware that has a ridiculous one. Magic chef is usually less expensive. Don't really bother much about the brand because they all come from the exact same factory in China. And they're surprisingly awesome. |

I used to keep one as a spare in my utility room off the kitchen. Here are some photos of mine. I agree that they all seem to be made by the same company or a very few companies. The one I have is very quiet, does a load in about an hour or so, heats the water and does a great job. It has three of four cycles. I plumbed mine in sharing the washing machine connection and drain so I never had to tie up the sink.
It does not have an upper spray arm but I don't think it matters. I echo the comment about CL and Facebook Market place. I see them fairly often.
I picked up mine at an estate sale for about $50. No issues with it. Hope you find one. CLICK HERE TO GO TO chachp's LINK |

Many years ago I bought my sister a Danby one. She had Corelle dishes and a ton fit in. She used to do multiple loads in a row to clean her kitchen. It only lasted 3 years and then it died. I bought her a Kenmore 18 inch dishwasher but the Danby cleaned much better I felt. Plus the water was heated to over 150 degrees so they dried in a few minutes.

I have a Bosch countertop dishwasher in the kitchen of my home hairdressing salon for the coffee cups, couldn’t manage without it, and on occasion, such as Christmas or entertaining we use it for overflow from the main kitchen. Works great, the 20 minute cycle is perfect for the coffee cups and the regular cycle works fine for any overflow of household dishes I need it to do.

If you're willing to think out of the box and can find a reasonable U-shipper there's this not far away....
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Kitchen... Besides CL don't forget FB Marketplace, Kijii, LetGo and Offerup. |
