I went to the used appliance store yesterday and found this LG Front loader on the scrap crate. It was in the back but I pulled it all the way to the front. I decoded the serial number and saw it was made in South Korea in July of 2012. This is a Entry Level model. The power cord was cut so I jumpered it and tested it. The only problem is the pump was clogged. I unclogged it. Now it needs a ton of work. I almost passed this one over. The door boot is NASTY! There is mold completely covering it. I'm gonna vomit! It's so GROSS! This machine does not have the sealed tub. The bearings,Spider and seal are still good. so is the Motor Controller Board and the Hall sensor. Once I clean it I will test it. if I can fix it for cheap I will replace the cord and it will be available for sale for $185.

This is a fail. I parted it out. it was too nasty and the spider was broken in 2 spots.

Too bad Kelly!

spider corrosion is common. It could have been replaced. Do you know the manufacturer of it?
