I finally hooked up my 1-18’s. Gonna test them for a few weeks and see how they do.

Congratulations!

We had the original 1-18 WIN from the early 70s. Mom kept it under a GM service contract until GM sold out--literally-- so it ran for a long time, especially after the 806 took over the major part of the laundry duties.

Chris, they look good there. I love the shade of coppertone they use.

Very nice!

Could you please take a pic of the control panels of the washer and dryer? Many thanks!

Glass Canister

Those glass canisters were used on the checkout counters in stores, gas stations, etc. to hold Lance snacks like those peanut butter crackers.  A friend's grandmother used them in her kitchen on the counter for flour, etc.

I bought two of those glass canisters for powder detergent but they're not air-tight so not the best choice for long-term storage of said products.

Very nice!

Frigidaire's Colonial Copper is a great color. I like it way better than their earlier Aztec Copper.

The hardware store I worked at in '77 had a set like this on display, but without the lid window. I guess it must have been leftover from the year before, as it was shaded CC. A Frigidaire range on the floor was unshaded. The store didn't sell much Frigidaire laundry equipment, as it was also a Maytag dealer.
