Just stumbled across this countertop dishwasher that I have never seen before. It seems to have water reservoir on top that you pour hot water into the top to be used for the entire cycle. There is a video at the link showing it running. Interesting design, would be fun to play with but it's more expensive that other counter dishwashers I've seen.

Saw a guy do a Youtube video review about 2-3 months ago. He bought a house and has an extremely small kitchen. And it was perfect for his situation.

From the reviews, if you get a good one you'll like it.  If you get a bum one, you're stuck;  there is ZERO support.

Cute as it is it doesn't look like it holds much, but I want one LOL. I never realized how many different makes/models there are of these things now on Amazon. I read the reviews on this Farberware one and then I read the reviews on another make/model Novette I think, and some of them were the same person and comments. So it seems you can't trust the reviews. I've noticed that on other products as well.

Zero support

We do or at least did carry these under our house brand.

These are the best representation of non repairable:
Our supplier offers 0 support, these go straight into the trash.

No parts available through us from what I know.

I think this makes more sense than the in sink dishwasher that was recently discussed. Both have a fruit wash program, but this one doesn’t require 240V, and also you don’t have to prerinse, just scrape off large chunks. Would be handy for rinsing off prep dishes and the like. Quickest cycle is 40 minutes. Maybe I’ll luck out and find one at Good Will or somewhere else cheap.

Neat, but weird

The world has gotten weird. People can't count on having space or hookups for a dishwasher, which has been a staple of U.S. life since since the 1950s. But we have the technology to make a tiny countertop dishwasher that can also steam-clean baby bottles and toys.

Cool find, @Unimatic!

Staple since 1950?  My family got our first in 1975-ish.

Same here, Mother bought her first KA, a KDS17A in 1974.

1950s versus 1970s

Dishwashers weren't common in the 1950s?! But all the commercials! The American National Exposition! . . . I believed the lies!

I picked up one of these second hand on Facebook Marketplace. I use it in our basement bar/kitchen.

It's nice that it has the choice of faucet connection or fill from the top.

Works just fine...terribly tiny!

QVC has been selling these on the air for a few months now.

I saw one in a video about a motorhome. It was used outside. Now I understand how it was possible, with the reservoir you don't need a water connection. Amazing!

Though not available in the US

Saw this demonstrated on YouTube today.
Much the same, much different.

Here in Europe we have a mini dishwasher called Bob, It's got a UV light as well. Looks really nice and quite fun to get to customise it.

I'll have to re-check the specs on the other one, but Bob looks like it'd appeal to city dwellers with micro kitchens. The water heater eliminate concerns with incoming water temps. The ability to fill a reservoir and run it without a hook-up would be an added attraction for those living in older apartments with ..... ummmm..... 'eccentric' kitchen layouts.

It seems an interesting machine for the size format... especially the ability to adapt the basket with the removable modules.

I wonder who makes the detergent? I get the impression that the detergent format is not unlike that of the Somat automatic one, discussed a month or two ago.
