Hey guys, I’ve got a question does anybody know if it’s possible to try and find a 240 V Maytag square tub wringer washer? They’re absolutely everywhere in America but I haven’t even seen one here in Australia

Don't think Maytag exported to OZ, at least not wringer washers. More modern offerings are available (top loaders), but that's different.

Since everything works off the motor, a simple swap to a 240v/50hz seems all it would take to make an American Maytag wringer work for you. Shipping one to OZ likely would be an expensive and extensive undertaking should imagine.

Have seen Maytag top loaders pop up in UK and other parts of Europe, but those were machines bought by American military or diplomatic service that got left behind.

Yeah there was a Maytag Toploader in Adelaide

Here, although the closest thing that I can get at least to a Maytag Wringer Washer, Is a Westinghouse ring washer as they use the same style of agitator, If I do end up getting this particular machine, I will probably up the Agi, As the wash action honestly seems a little bit slow to my liking, I know there’s a YouTube video of a similar model to The one that I showed in the first two pictures
