Hey guys I’m curious has anybody seen one of these dishwashers before, I had two of them in my collection, And I’m curious, should this dishwasher be connected to hot or cold water? |

No idea where you could buy one but I am guessing any big box store. But they were called if memory serves "Studio dishwashers" in other word poor buggers with tiny kitchen as they sat on the draining board of the sink thus not taking up any more space and to my mind a darn site better than doing dishes by hand.... !!

Although I think it’s kind of weird how you can turn off the heater during the wash cycle |

I think it's a cold fill machine. When using rinse + hold you turn the heater off. The fill hose does not look like it will withstand hot water. |

An option To disable the heater and only three wash programs, while this one has at least six double that if you included with the heater off and different wash temperatures |

This particular dishwasher is one that I actually like both from a design perspective and of how it’s really simple and very little if any electronics |

It was sold here mid 80's by Servis UK albeit a badged model made by said company in Israel. It connected to cold fill only for a bio profile wash as standard . Then when using cold pre wash you switched the heater off . A neat little unit available in white or brown door trim .

The heating element appears to be electrically leaking, so I’m wanting to try and find parts for it, would anybody be able to help me? |

The hole for the element looks like is the standard size for all the dishwasher elements, guess is a 1800-2000watt one but you can read specifics on the tag.
You can try to measure it and start looking up online for something that fits, chances are you might get something slightly bigger or smaller. But if it fits and don't touch any moving parts or Internal parts it should work fine anyway. Check first if the electric leak is not because of a water leak near the connectors or element ends. |
